The only way our business can move forward is if we support our people in moving themselves forward. That’s why we’re constantly adding to the learning and development opportunities we have available.
So, join us and you’ll discover plenty of scope for personal development and professional progression, with formal training, mentoring, secondments, and a learning catalogue of over 400 online courses. You’ll also have regular reviews with your line manager, and our focus on internal promotion means you’ll find lots of opportunities to advance your career.
We work with a variety of training providers to offer a range of apprenticeships from level 2 (equivalent to GCSE) up to level 7 (equivalent to a Master’s degree). Some are related to our business and others focus more on your individual development. So, whatever your role, you’re likely to find an apprenticeship to suit you, and we’ll give you the support you need to learn and grow.
Our Mentoring Exchange is a dedicated programme that focuses on bringing together colleagues from across the business. Whether you’re looking for a mentor to boost your personal or professional development, or you’d like to be a mentor, this is the place for you.
This programme supports newly recruited, promoted or developing Post Office Managers. With a series of modules covering a range of issues, from recruitment, performance management and coaching, to wellbeing, employee relations and time management, it gives them the tools they need to be effective managers.
At Post Office, we aim to create a workplace that empowers you to focus on your physical, mental, social and financial wellbeing, so you bring your best self to work and find an environment where you can thrive. That’s why we’ve created a dedicated wellbeing hub for all our colleagues. By raising awareness of all aspects of wellbeing, educating and supporting colleagues, and providing relevant tools and resources, we enable people across the business to make positive and proactive choices.
