General Counsel

In this team, we provide effective legal support and advice to the business, to help it mitigate risk. We also monitor reports of wrongdoing and act as a point of contact for those with concerns. In addition, we oversee corporate governance of Post Office Ltd.

Corporate Affairs

We own and deliver the framework for communications with internal and external stakeholders. This means that, as well as providing communications to colleagues and postmasters, we also manage media relations and other external affairs, and implement the environmental, social and governance strategy.

Legal Counsel

You will work as part of a team and be responsible for providing timely, high quality and focused legal advice to an area of the business. The in-house legal team advise on all aspects of legal risk relevant to the Post Office businesses. This involves identifying and solving strategic and operational legal issues, and working closely with the business in providing clear, accurate and timely advice to help them achieve their objectives. As part of this role the Legal Counsel will also advise and potentially lead in negotiating contracts.
