We’re the team at the heart of Post Office operations, offering a variety of central support for postmasters and customers. We also manage support for the network, including offices, fleet and inventory.
In the Supply Chain team, we manage stock provisions and cash service distribution for the whole Post Office estate. This includes supplying, sorting and distributing cash, coins and stock, for all 11,500 branches. It’s a nationwide operation, with five Post Office cash centres, plus a further 10 cash-in-transit depots across the UK.
In Procurement, we provide a range of services, including educating colleagues on all aspects of procurement and improving compliance. At the same time, we also oversee the framework for supplier and contract management across the business.
This new team focuses on coordinating Post Office’s approach to data strategy. We’re a central hub for management information and analytics, providing a single source of truth for the business.
As a Support Advisor in our Branch Support Centre, you will be the first point of contact for all postmaster queries. It’s about being a good listener, putting yourself in their shoes, and doing everything you can to solve their issues. That means becoming an expert in everything to do with Post Office branch operations, and being well-organised, so every issue is logged, managed and resolved effectively.
As a member of one of our cash-carrying crews, you'll be delivering and collecting cash/coin and a range of high-value items. It’s a highly responsible role, delivering securely and on time to locations across the UK, so you will need to comply with all relevant safety and security regulations.
In this role, you will be instrumental to the daily running of our business. You will be processing cash and coins using desktop and high-speed note and coin counting machines, providing robust and accurate data to strict deadlines, and delivering exceptional quality service for all customers.
As one of our Data Analysts, you will be analysing, interpreting and reporting on large data sets to drive data-driven business decisions. We use a variety of data visualisation and analysis tools, including Tableau, Power BI and SQL.
When you join us, you will discover plenty of scope for personal development and career progression, with formal training, mentoring, secondments, and a learning catalogue of over 400 online courses.
