We establish and maintain the framework for identifying, assessing, and managing risks across the organisation. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, conducting internal audits, and implementing risk mitigation strategies to safeguard Post Office and its employees.
This is where we oversee all financial planning and control for Post Office Ltd. This covers a variety of areas, including forecasting, tax, treasury and accounting.
Working closely with Post Office business units, we act as business partners, educating and assisting them in managing P&L.
As a Finance Analyst, you will provide the business unit teams with relevant and timely management reporting and accounting services. You will help the business unit finance teams to understand, analyse and evaluate income and costs. You will also produce high quality, timely and accurate management reporting.
Acting as a dedicated business partner, you will provide financial insight, analysis and reporting to support budgeting and forecasting. This will include maintaining a register of income/cost risks and opportunities, as well as providing modelling support for business cases and investment decisions.
With a firm grasp of UK data protection legislation, you will identify privacy and data protection issues and risks, and help to mitigate those risks in line with industry good practice and Post Office risk appetite. This will include deploying Post Office data protection policies, frameworks, standards and controls, as well as providing privacy/data protection compliance expertise and guidance to the business.
You will help ensure that Post Office meets all its obligations under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). This will include monitoring and recording the details of all incoming emails and FOIA requests, and helping to process them in line with timeframes and deadlines.
